Multi Pro® 1750 Now Available With GeoLink® Technology
Superintendents now have a brand-new option for precise control of spraying applications. Now Toro’s innovative GeoLink® precision spray system is available on the 175-gallon (662 liter) Multi Pro® 1750. This model is Toro’s most popular sprayer, commonly used on tees and greens.
First introduced on the Multi Pro 5800, the proven GeoLink system uses GPS technology for accurate, repeatable application to within 1 cm of set parameters*. GeoLink knows exactly where the machine is and where it has sprayed, automatically turning nozzles on and off based on the machine’s location. This helps eliminate gaps and overlaps to avoid waste, ultimately reducing costs. The system also ensures consistent coverage, contributing to the overall health of the turfgrass.
GeoLink features include a user-friendly, rainproof touchscreen that makes it easy to create and choose different application jobs. Users only need to map out a job once, and the data will be saved for future applications. The system also offers accurate reporting that can be downloaded for analysis.
In addition, the GeoLink system is available in both Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS) and Real Time Kinematic (RTK) correction system configurations. Support for GeoLink is offered through the Toro National Support Network (NSN) and includes troubleshooting and rapid replacement services.
Other features of the Multi Pro 1750 worth noting include the industry-exclusive six-diaphragm pump, which delivers higher spray volume and aggressive agitation — as well as the elliptical tank, which has no shelves or corners for contents to settle into, helping to ensure a 99 percent spray-out of product. The rugged triangular spray boom also breaks away in both forward and reverse on impact to protect nozzles from damage.
