And the results speak for themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Originally purchased as a lease-to-own package in 2006, their fleet consists of Reelmaster<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> fairway mowers, a Greensmaster<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> TriFlex&#x2122;, half a dozen Greensmaster<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Flex&#x2122; walking greensmowers, two Sand Pro<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> bunker rakes, Workman<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> utility vehicles and a couple ProCore<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> aerators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"406\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toroadvantage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/article-image-juliette-falls-3.jpg\" alt=\"toro procore 648 walk behind aerator aerifying \" class=\"wp-image-6639\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.toroadvantage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/article-image-juliette-falls-3.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.toroadvantage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/article-image-juliette-falls-3-300x174.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>A mild-mannered Groundsmaster<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> affectionately named \u201cGrandma,\u201d is also part of that 16-year-old fleet. Because Grandma is not too fast, easy to operate and \u201cbulletproof\u201d according to Keller and his team, it is ideal for training new crew members with little experience. As Keller puts it, \u201cWhen someone\u2019s experience is a little questionable, we put them on Grandma so they can learn the ropes.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-style-large is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>We pretty much stick to the Toro maintenance schedule and what they recommend for intervals for oil changes, hydraulic oil changes, and so on<\/p><cite>&#8211; <strong>Tom Reynolds<\/strong>, <em>Lead Technician<\/em>, Juliette Falls Golf Course<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"406\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toroadvantage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/article-image-juliette-falls-2.jpg\" alt=\"toro reelmaster verticutting a fairway on juliette falls golf course\" class=\"wp-image-6638\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.toroadvantage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/article-image-juliette-falls-2.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.toroadvantage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/article-image-juliette-falls-2-300x174.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>So how has their equipment lasted this long? The secret lies in following their trusty Toro maintenance schedules. \u201cWe pretty much stick to the Toro maintenance schedule and what they recommend for intervals for oil changes, hydraulic oil changes, and so on,\u201d stated Tom Reynolds, lead technician for Juliette Falls. \u201cWe also have two technicians with capacity and know-how to take on that type of maintenance schedule.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another factor to their equipment lasting so long is attributed to the course being in the northern part of Florida. That part of the state experiences a cooler winter climate, resulting in a dormant turf \u2014 and a dormant turf doesn\u2019t require mowing. During these winter months, Keller and his team store away the greenkeeping equipment until spring rolls around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Keller also described how a strong and reliable partnership with Wesco, his Toro distributor, has helped get down equipment up and running again faster. \u201cSometimes we\u2019ll order parts from Wesco and we\u2019ll get a shipment from them the very next day,\u201d said Keller. \u201cWe\u2019ll also call the shop for troubleshooting, and they\u2019ll take the time to explain it or send over maintenance instructions.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"406\" src=\"https:\/\/www.toroadvantage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/article-image-juliette-falls-1.jpg\" alt=\"toro reelmaster mowing a fairway on juliette falls golf course\" class=\"wp-image-6637\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.toroadvantage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/article-image-juliette-falls-1.jpg 700w, https:\/\/www.toroadvantage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/article-image-juliette-falls-1-300x174.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>To top it off, Keller explained that choosing a supportive brand like Toro has made all the difference. \u201cI can\u2019t count how many times I\u2019ve called other companies for any kind of assistance, and they just go \u2018huh, never dealt with that before.\u2019 And when we call Toro, we never have that problem.
