Join the American Golf Industry Coalition in Washington, D.C., May 8 – 10, to promote and grow the game of golf. The three-day event includes a community service project, a keynote address, overview of advocacy issues, a congressional reception and the chance to participate in more than 250 legislative meetings to help advocate and promote the game.

Toro is proud to be a contributing partner of the American Golf Industry Coalition and a sponsor of the Grassroots Ambassador program of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA). Thanks to Toro’s support, GCSAA’s top-level grassroots advocates will be honored at a ceremony during National Golf Day.

The American Golf Industry Coalition is a partnership among golf’s leading organizations to promote and advocate for the collective interests of the sport by:

  • Advocating for legislative and regulatory issues of importance
  • Facilitating the industry’s diversity, equity and inclusion efforts, including the initiative known as Make Golf Your Thing

Make Golf Your Thing is a collaborative effort that reflects the industry’s commitment to making the sport more diverse, equitable and inclusive through three areas of focus:

  • Enhancing the game for all
  • Attracting diverse talent and creating inclusive workplaces
  • Further diversifying the vendors and suppliers equipping the $84 billion golf industry

This multi-faceted, multi-year movement intentionally works to invite more people to golf from all backgrounds, identities and abilities, whether they are playing, building a career or doing business with the industry.
