On September 25th, the global golfing community lost a legend.
Many say it wasn’t just Arnold Palmer’s golfing ability that made him such an icon, but perhaps more importantly, it was the way he treated everyone he met with kindness. Toro’s relationship with Mr. Palmer goes back many years, and when the news hit, everyone felt it was extremely important to honor him during the 2016 Ryder Cup.
Enter Arnie’s Army.
Toro staff helped work through the night to design and produce a number of materials to share at the 2016 Ryder Cup including Arnie’s Army buttons and large-scale murals with images of Mr. Palmer that visitors could sign and share their memories of the golfing legend. The murals are located on the side of the PGA store on site at Hazeltine.
Here’s to Mr. Palmer.
