Here\u2019s the recap from an exciting week:<strong><br><br><\/strong>Toro unveiled the next generation of Lynx<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> Central Control <strong>\u2014 <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lynxnews.toro.com\/\"><strong>Lynx Drive.<\/strong><\/a><strong> <\/strong>An entirely new and improved way to manage golf course irrigation systems, Lynx Drive features a host of cutting-edge features, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A fresh design that\u2019s clean, simple and intuitive when navigating from your phone.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A new Lynx Smart Notes feature that makes it easy to track what needs to be done and communicate with staff.<br><br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The ability to manage daily activities right from the map feature \u2014 no need to go to a different screen.<br><br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Toro also debuted the latest <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom.toro.com\/en\/news\/2024-us\/01-31-2024-performance-series-nozzles-for-infinity-and-flex800-sprinklers\"><strong>Performance Series Nozzles<\/strong><\/a> for both INFINITY<sup>\u00ae<\/sup>&nbsp;and FLEX800\u2122 sprinklers. The redesigned Performance Series Nozzles offer increased water distribution uniformity and versatility for greater efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Many of Toro\u2019s powerful electric and autonomous products were also on display, including the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toro.com\/en\/product\/31800\"><strong>Groundsmaster<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> e3200<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.toro.com\/en\/product\/02614T\"><strong>eHoverPro<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> 450<\/strong><\/a><strong>, <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.toro.com\/en-gb\/product\/07413TC\"><strong>Workman<sup>\u00ae<\/sup> GTX Lithium<\/strong><\/a> and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.toro.com\/product\/08303\"><strong>MDX Lithium<\/strong><\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.toro.com\/en\/golf\/vista\"><strong>Vista<sup>\u00ae<\/sup><\/strong><\/a> and much more. <strong><br><br><\/strong>In addition to the products on the trade show floor, Toro is proud to take part in and support various activities and initiatives that benefit the GCSAA and future leaders of the industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>GCSAA Golf Championships<\/strong> are an annual opportunity for GCSAA members to meet, connect and network with peers while enjoying friendly competition. Melrose Family Foundation<\/strong>, 10 members of the GCSAA were able to attend the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show. The group consists of five superintendents participating in the 2024 Melrose Leadership Academy, and five equipment managers participating in the 2024 Melrose Equipment Management Experience. Both programs are named after former CEO and chairman of The Toro Company, Kendrick B. Melrose. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><br><\/strong>Emily Braithwaite and Daniele McFadden were named <strong>2023 Dr. James Watson Fellows<\/strong>. Braithwaite, who is pursuing her master\u2019s degree in turfgrass pathology at Oregon State University, and McFadden, who is working toward a Ph.D. in turfgrass science at Kansas State University, each received a $5,000 scholarship and an opportunity to attend the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toro also announced a $50,000 grant to the GCSAA Foundation to support its <strong>Rounds 4 Research<\/strong> program. Rounds 4 Research is designed to address a critical shortage in turfgrass research funding by auctioning off donated rounds of golf online. The program allows GCSAA chapters and turfgrass foundations to participate as fundraising partners and direct the proceeds from auctioned rounds to specific projects that will have the biggest impact in their areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00ad\u00adThank you to the GCSAA and all who made this year\u2019s event a success.
