Mow more grass per pass.
A typical 6′ mower maxes out at 4.3 acres per hour. With an 11′ cutting width, the 4000-D lets you cut as much as 7.9 acres per hour. That’s nearly double the productivity.

Stay comfortable.
A comfortable operator is more productive, so we’ve included an adjustable air-ride seat standard. You’ll also get ergonomic one-touch controls on the control hub arm, as well as power steering and low-noise operation.

Keep your cool.
Both models are now equipped with Toro’s exclusive SmartCool™ technology. When things heat up under the hood, this system briefly reverses the cooling fan to blast chaff and debris from the air intake screens for maximum uptime.

Power through thick grass.
The upgraded Tier IV Interim engine gives you 60 hp (45 kW) and 125 foot-pounds of peak torque to handle the toughest mowing conditions. The shallow cutting deck quickly disperses the clippings to help the machine devour grass. And the patented parallel hydraulic traction system ensures full-time 4-wheel drive in forward and reverse to help you avoid getting stuck.

Turn on less than a dime.
The 4000-D and 4100-D are designed to mow a 0″ uncut circle, so you can easily mow back and forth patterns without missing a blade of grass. And you’ll do it all without leaving a stripe in the rough.

Lift your wings.
The 4000-D has independent center and offset wing decks, so you can mow with one, two or all three decks. Pass through tight spaces and trim around obstacles with as little as a 42″ cutting swath, then switch to the full 11′ cutting swath to make quick work of open spaces.

Forward-looking.
The exclusive all-out-front cutting deck on the 4100-D is completely within the operator’s peripheral vision – no need to turn your head to keep an eye on obstacles. It’s easy to see and control, which makes it ideal for both new and experienced operators.

Use your machine year round.
A climate-controlled safety cab and a wide range of attachments are available – including a snow thrower, rotary broom and debris blower – for all-season usability and versatility.
